Question: Bump on my tongue!. What is it!?
I have a small white bump on the side of my tongue and it was never there before I went to bed then woke up and had it!. It was kinda painful but stopped hurting a few hours afterward!. What is it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a canker sore, which is not an STD or contagious!. Don't worry, it's not herpes!. Canker sores heal themselves, so you don't need meds, but I know they do hurt, I get them sometimes!. It is not known exactly what causes them, but girls are more likely to get them on/near their periods!. Nothing bad, don't worry!. Here's a website with some more info:
