Hamstring injury help?!


Question: Hamstring injury help!?
while sparing in grappling training today!. I suddenly felt this sharp pain in my hamstring, half way between my the back of my knee and my butt!. It didn't feel very painful so I carried on the training session!. Few hours later whenever I move my leg i feel the same pain but less than when I was training!. It is very annoying!. Can you guys please help me figure out what it is and/or how i could get it treated with seeing the physio!?

Sounds like a minor pull!. Take some antiinflammatories and ice it 2x/day for 20 minutes each time until it feels better!. It may bruise through after a couple of days!. Nothing to be concerned about!. Also, stay off of it!. It will be prone to further injury over the next couple of weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would just wait a few days to a week and see if it heals on it's own!. Decrease your activity level and wait it out!. If you are still in pain in a week, then see a doctor or therapist!. The therapist can give you exercises you can do at home so you don't have to spend money to see one every week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wait for 1 more day!. If still hurting, then go see a Doctor!.

He will advise what is best!. He will advise physio!. if needed!. Don't self-diagnose treatment, you are not a Doctor!.
