Could you dislocate a finger from cracking your fingers?!

Question: Could you dislocate a finger from cracking your fingers!?
I think I dislocated the middle joint on my finger while cracking my fingers (I know it's bad, but when I don't crack them they get all stiff!.) Is this possible!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If you can flex it and extend it fully "both directions", it's not dislocated!. If it's just swollen and painful the treatment is the same!. Same if it was broken, not broken, cracked, etc!.!.!. Just immmobilize or splint it, and don't use it!. Take Tylenol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just read a couple of days ago, on a site for fact or fiction!. It said if you pop your fingers be very careful because you can dislocate finger!.!.It is actually air pockets when you hear the crackling sound!. But it also said that it did not cause arthritis in your fingers neck etc!. that was a myth!. It also said you could make them very sore from popping them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, yes, unless you crack them very carefully!. I suggest you only crack them once a week or so, because it can lead to arthiritis in your older years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think you would know if something really serious happened to your finger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
