Fingers asleep - Carpal tunnel or pinched nerve?!

Question: Fingers asleep - Carpal tunnel or pinched nerve!?
For about 3-4 days now I have had a numbness, "fingers falling asleep" sensation in my left arm, in the bottom two fingers (pinky and ring)!.

I noticed it directly when I woke up and it just hasn't quite gone away!. I suspect a pinched nerve, because with Carpal, I've read its normally the top three fingers, and not so much the pinky!. Also, this is relatively constant (there are degree's of numbness, but there is always some numbness)!.

When i bend my elbow i can feel some pressure in the elbow, which makes me suspect a pinched nerve even more!.

I am planning to see a doctor, but I am out of town for three more days for a professional exam (kind of important), so my question is, can it wait these three days, or should I be trying to see a doctor pronto, while out of town!?

(I'm in Canada, so its not a question of insurance or anything, just convenience)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
As long as it is just the falling asleep feeling!. I would say it could wait!. I asked my wife (who is an RN) and she said it sounded like a pinched nerve!. She also said as long as you can still use your arm and there is no pain, then it should not be a problem to wait until you get home to have it treated!

Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
