Answers:
it is 30:2 and only for infants is it 15:2 and if you have a defib it should instruct you if a shock is advised!. but I think there were changes to how many shocks!.!.!.i think 3!. you could probably check this on american heart assoc!. I think I better too!Www@Answer-Health@Com

CPR ratios according to the American Heart Association is 30 compressions for every 2 breaths for every patient no matter the age or size!. the only difference is the depth that you go on each patient!. adults you compress 1 1/2 - 2inches, children 1-1 1/2inches and infants 1/2 - 1 inch!.

To use a defibrillator you would attach the device to a patient that is pulseless and not breathing!. if they have a heart rhythm that is shock advisable the machine will inform you of this and prompt you to shock the patient!.

The ratio for CPR was changed in March of last year, I believe or it was the year before that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe it only changed for adults!. With adults you only have to do compressions, as many as you can!. Children and infants have remained the same!.

The new defibrillators, read the telemetry itself and defibs on its own!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
