Why do our arms sway while walking?!


Question: Why do our arms sway while walking!?

You are able to maintain balance when you consciously stop swinging ,but you are forced to compensate with increased attention!.
the emphasis is on maintaining the centre of gravity between your feet at any given time!.

Its mainly instinct, but it has to do with balance!.
Right leg forward-left arm backward

i think it has to do with balance also because our arms are loose and free falling they sway!. We dont keep them tense and stiff by our sides it would be uncomfortable!.!.!.so they just sway along lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

It takes more effort to hold them at your side than to just let them swing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well we don't do it consiuosly,but it is to balence and center our wieght!. effects of gravity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
