I have been attending a stop smoking group and really think its helped this time as my attempts to quit in the past have failed!.
Has anyone else been to a stop smoking group!?

Well done! I've given up for 5 weeks now and feel SO much better it's unbelievable!. I didn't go to a group but have been getting patches on the NHS scheme from my local chemist and the advisor there has been very helpful and encouraging!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm in the process of quitting, myself!. I am not taking any drugs like Chantix (sp) or going to any group sessions -- just relying on will power!. Thus far, I have managed only to cut down on the amount of cigarettes per day!. Different things work for different people!. No, I did it cold turkey!.(Of course I had to prepare my mind for it) But I imagine if the group thing is what you really wanna do, you might wanna make sure they plan to prepare you for when group time's officially up!. Cause then you won't have as much encouragement as you did being in it!. I guess it depends on what the group is actually doing that's helping you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no I quit cold turkey about a month ago stay in your group it worked for my friend me on the other hand not doing so great!.
