I play in a co-ed softball league for fun!. This past weekend I was forced to be a catcher and during a pitch I wasn't really paying attention and the guy pitcher hit me right in the crotch with the ball!. It was really embarrassing and hurt like hell!. But now I am worried about it because a day later it still hurts!. My vulva is a little swollen and so is my clitoris (the ball hit me right there)!. Is there any danger something is really wrong!? Should I see a gyn!? I can walk ok but the pain is aggravating!. And anyone know if they make some sort of female crotch guard!?!?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's likely that you won't have any lasting damage to your vagina!. The swelling can be helped with ice and try taking an anti inflammatory like aleve or motrin to reduce swelling and discomfort!. Try not to do too much physical exertion until you are comfortable again!. Stay away from that ^$#$pitcher!!!!

I have a lot of experience with hurting my crotch!. I would say that it's just bruised a little and will take some time to heal!. Put some ice there to help the swelling go down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
