Answers:
Yes, it is TOTALLY normal for it to still hurt!. I had my appendix out in an emergency appendectimy after it burst, and sometimes where I had the stiches, my little scars, still hurt more than I can say!. Mine usually feels like your side when you're running and tired, but worse!. Idk about the dentist thing, but my GUESS is yes!. I hope ur scar gives you less trouble in the future! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, sometimes a stitch does not get absorbed!.!.!.!.sometimes a nerve get "trapped" in a stitch and bugs you forever!.!.!.!.or at least it seems like it!.!.!.!.
No, a stitch will not show up on an x-ray usually unless it has a specific added x-ray visable part to it!. Chromic or ,catgut they used to call it, absorbs and is used under the skin!. You may feel a thickening there but it usually will clear up after a while!. sometimes a bit of the suture will finally work its way out of an incision!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
