If she did not lose consciousness, you should calm down!. The chances of anything serious are MUCH less now!. Now for immediate treatment, bandage any wounds, and then ice for 20 minutes on, and 20 off for 2 days as much as you can!. What this does is reduce any swelling and pain, which is definitely going to occur!. In 2 days, if it still bothers her, switch to heat!. Now remember, never apply ice directly to skin!. Wrap it around a towel or something; it will prevent any cold injuries to skin like frostbite!. Same goes to heat!.

Now, you are wondering: Should I take her to hospital!? Well your first immediate concern is concussion!. The easiest way to check this is just look at her pupils!. If they are unequal, there is a high chance!. Use a flashlight or something to shine into the eyes to judge this, it might be easier that way!. If it is, take her ASAP!. Also, if she loses track of thoughts, has slurred speech, and just is not acting mentally normal, take her ASAP!.

Other than that, just take it easy!. Any other bigger injury would have obvious signs and your sister probably would be crying and screaming in pain for hours to come!. Just remember that kids get hurt very often, and to not panic because it usually isn't serious enough to take to hospital etc etc!. Just if head pain continues after few days, take her to the pediatrician!.

Hope I helped! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ice it, and shine a flashlight in one of her eyes to see if only one of the pupils gets smaller!. If they are different sizes, get her to a hospital!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ice it 20 on and 20 off then compress it as quickly as possible to prevent the swelling from returning and to stop a clot from formingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Put some ice on it!. If she starts to feel dizzy take her to the doctors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
