What might cause fullness (bloating) or bowel problems, and other gastric issues!

Question: What might cause fullness (bloating) or bowel problems, and other gastric issues!?
When I was 9 or 10, I used to be capable of eating 2 pork chops with potatoes, rice and salad and still not getting full!. Now, when i'm turning 15, sometimes if I eat a full plate of smashed potatoes with some fish I get a bit full, like if I felt the food falling in the stomach for 15 minutes!. Is my metabolism slowing down!? When I was younger I was much more active, and now I don't practice any sport, and I stay like 7 or 8 hours in front of the computer, so did that affect me!?

Also, some days ago I started feeling like my gas got stuck in my esophagus, and when I swallowed something I had a mild pain in my chest!. Is it possible that sputum can form a barrier in the esophagus!? I had symptoms of allergies/sinus infection!. (also posted here : http://answers!.yahoo!.com/question/index;!.!.!.

How often should a person "poop" each day and how much!? I eat reasonably well, and I end up with 5 or 6 sausage-like stools once a dayWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
First off, we often eat more at a young age because of our metabolism!. As we get older, it slows down and we often eat less as it slows (no need since we aren't bouncing off the walls-so to speak)!.

As far as "poop" goes, normal bowel movements range from 3 times per day to three times per week!. You may want to discuss your bathroom habits with your doctor as this may be excessive!.

In regards to bloating!.!.!. it is often caused by the foods we eat, or simply overeating!. Check out this site that may have some helpful hints on what to eat and what to have in moderation!
