Question: I'm sooo scared! please help!?
I think I fractured my growth plate last year, and my mom didn't believe me (I have had alot of foot injuries so she just tends to think I'm faking them now for some reason) and now my foot hurts all of the time!.
now my right foot is longer than my left foot by a shoe size and I didn't really notice it until a few weeks a go, well actually half a shoe size (left-5 1/2 right-6) I'm so scared my mom finally broke down after a year of pain and misery and is taking me to the podiatrist, and I want to know what they will do!.
It still hurts, is it possible that I did something to my foot before, and then at gymnastics while I was tumbling I fractured my growth plate, because I sprain that fot alot for some reason (i've been on critches 3 times this year) and there might still be a chance to fix it, because it didn't start hurting where the growth plat was until about 2 months ago!.
I can't rest my foot in certain positions either without extreme pain!.

Don't be afraid of the visit to the podiatrist, he will not hurt you, he will examine your foot and will determine which treatment is good for you, in the last year after the fracture the bone grew and maybe grew in a bad position, even more if the injury affected the growth plate, is natural that you noticed the length difference, I don' know specifically but I'm sure that in medicine, treatments for this kind of problems exists, you may need a cast, I'm not trying to scare you, I'm sorry if I am, but you must need to go to the podiatrist to finally know what's happening with your foot, I only wish you good luck and good luck with your foot too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Seeing the doctor is what you should have done a long time ago!. He will do an xray so he can see what is wrong!. He will not hurt you so there's no need to be afraid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you should see a docter this could be a serious problem i think surgery if your mom dosent belevie you ask a family or a freind to help you out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
