Question: 2 Years after surgery the scar itches!.!.!?
2 years ago I had arthroscopic knee surgery due to a blood flow problem inside my knee!. I have a small scar on my left knee!. Sometimes the scar itches!. What is happening inside my knee!? Is the blood just flowing faster/better/more or is it slowing down and less blood is coming through!? The knee is weather dependent!. It's normal though my doctor tells my!. Happens with some patients after surgery!. But when this happened the weather was constantly sunny!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My husband had knee surgery when he was in high school and his knee is also weather dependent!. However, his scar does not bother him!. I have a few scars that are from injuries and biopsies that do itch to the point of driving me crazy from time to time!. Some of the scars are from over fifteen years ago!. I am not sure why they do that, someone told me that the tissue was trying to change (I didn't really understand what they were trying to explain)!. I know it wasn't a great help in explaining it, but it does happen to someone else also!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
