I used to have that happen to me all the time!. I went to the doctor and they told me it was from malnutrition and lack of sleep!. Have you been very stressed out lately!?

I hope that never happens againWww@Answer-Health@Com

That is too little information to tell, it could be of several reasons!.

It could be pinched nerve

Or it could be low blood pressure , if one's diet does not contain enough iron ( as often seen in total vegetarian) , it would set your blood pressure lower than desirable , from lying down to sitting up , blood would pool to your legs and temporarily, leaving deficiency of blood circulating to your brain , this could cause temporary black-out since your respiratory centre and optic nerves could probably be affected!.

It was good that your brain re-set itself after a few minutes, but if this happens frequently , check with your doctor!.

Edit : do you have asthma =!? often asthma attack means that a person cant effectively exhaled the already exchanged air ( CO2 and a bit of oxygen) out causing retention of a quite high amount of this air mixture in their trachea , high CO2 level would automatically trigger a " desire " to get more oxygen in ( i!.e that is to breath in more )!. Are you allergic to anything !?

Edit : ok, personally I doubt it was an allergic reaction, allergic reaction could have been worse!. Since you are allergic to cats and dogs , being continuously exposed to the allergents would either cause hypersensitivity type 4 or delayed hypersensitivity!.

Again, if that happens frequently, you should have it checked out by your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For a moment the blood supply to the heart or the brain was cut!.It is more likely to happen to those who have uncontrolled blood sugar levels or high!.blood pressure!.you must not ignore it!.Go to your G!.P!.and let him investigate the cause behind this black out!.He may like to send you for further investigations!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you getting enough protein in your diet!? A lack of protein could make you anemic (low hemoglobin in your blood), and you might experience such symptoms!. If that is the case, all it takes is a simple blood test (CBC) to determine if that is the problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My guess would be a pinched nerve, if it happens again I would have it checked by a doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like an Asthma attack to me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
