I can never get to sleep!?!


Question: I can never get to sleep!!?
I'm tired of having to use a form of medication to get to sleep!. I desperately want to get on a normal sleeping schedule!. I didnt fall alseep until after 4 am last night and got up at almost noon! I have a fairly active day, so I know that can't be it!. I used to be borderline anemic!.!.!. could that be a cause!?
It has been this way for almost a year, unless i take a form of sleeping medication and then i sleep for half the day!!!
I can honestly say its controlling my life!
Any advice!?
Again, I DONT want to keep relying on medications, because most leave you feeling sleepy and unrested when you wake up and during the day!. They can also be addictive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Resolution!?

First <-note you are going to have to get into a rhythm!.!.!. At first it'll be sporatic, but try and stick to this program so that your inner clock eventually knows that it's bed time!.

Do not take a bath @ bedtime!. Contrary to popular belief, my neurologist told me that it actually wakes you up!.

-Cut caffiene and make sure you are on a regular diet

-Start drinking Chamomille tea with or without warm milk it really works and safe enough for even pregnant women to drink!.!.!.

-make sure your room is dark

-make sure you have confy pjs on

-make sure your room is cool!.!.!.!. and nice dark cold room is very comfy and promotes good sleep

-give yourself time to fall asleep!.!.!.!. thus find a good time to go to be!. I normally do 10ish!.!.!.!.

-to get my son into the mood we started listening to light music like enigma or earth music

-before you go to bed you can also rub a good lavendar cream to promote pleasant sleep!.

Make sure to not consume any food or caffeine a few hours before bed!. (okay, that is obvious)

However, it sounds like you could have a sleeping disorder if it truly is controlling your life!. You need to see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

wen i am not tired and i have to go upstairs i get a really good book and read till my eyes get droopy then i put the book down or sometimes fall asleep with my book in my hand and that works alot or just turn off the lights close ur eyes and dont move then u usally fall asleep

Natural remedies include warm milk, melatonin, valerian, 5-HTP and others that you can find in a web search for "natural sleep remedies"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lay in bed listening to quiet music with warm milk at like 8 pm imagine your muscles relaxing from head to toe just relax your body trust me it will helpWww@Answer-Health@Com
