Question: Do i need a doctors note to return to work!?
hi, i have been off work sick and have a doctors note until next monday, which i have already submitted to my boss!. if i return to work tomorrow or friday will i need a note from my doctor to say i can return!?

Yes- you need a note with a return date on it, if your note had a specific date rather than a number of weeks then that is the date you have to return to work-if you want to go back earlier you Will have to pop in and see your Dr again( that's the official line,some firms are not too bothered so it does depend who you work for)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont think you do!. As long as you are sure you are feeling fine and you can prove to your boss that you are you should be fine!. If that fails then go to your doctor and ask for his advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no not if you risk to others , but if they or their policy's say you must have a certificate to say you are fit to return , then get one but the original should say 7 days or until fit to returnWww@Answer-Health@Com
Yes you do, they've signed you off for a reason!. You may feel better, but that doesn't mean you are fit!. Go back and discuss with your doctor!.

As long as u have a sick note stated from what date u were sick to the last day u were sick and ur sick note covers these dates this should be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
