Question: Is it bad to have almost no sleep O!.O !?
over the last few weeks!.!.!. i have really, hated sleeping, i try get up at about!.!.!. 12, i prefer earlier but usually round about that time!.!.!. and at night, i stay up till its light, or the sun is completely up!.!.!. so, my earliest is about 4am!.!.!. but most nights i dont go to bed till about 7am!.!.!. my mum says its bad habits and isnt good for me!.!.!. what effect does less sleep have!?!? and why do i not like sleeping anymore : (Www@Answer-Health@Com

The body requires sleep and rest to perform daily rituals!. I have a problem sleeping nights because of chronic pain!. The meds make me feel sluggish and restless so I try not to take them as often as prescribed!. I find it easy to just turn on the television and lower the volume!. I'm in the bed for approx 7 hours a night (I like t!.v!.) and I can function with 3 hours of sleep but the other 4 hours, I"ll just lay there and rest my mind and my body!. sounds like you need to change your sleep times!. Try to go to bed an hour early every night and wake up an hour early every morning until you are on a more normal schedule (you should be sleeping when its dark!) unless you work a graveyard shift!. but it doesn't sound liek that is the case here!.!.!.!. your desire to sleep should return when you go to a more normal sleep schedule!. Its a typical person's cyradian rythem to sleep at night!. yours sounds very messed up!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to have the same problem and it made it difficult for me to get to work on time when I used to work in the daytime!. I had to resolve this by switching to the night shift!. It took me a while to get used to the night shift as well because it is slower pace and I was used to all the action from the daytime!. My bedtime hour used to be around 2 am so by 4 am I was dying!. Sleep is very important for the body!. It actually gives the brain a break and time to recharge!. I'm assuming that you are a teenager!. It is normal in teenage years to stay up late and then want to sleep most of the day away!. That sleep schedule is actually part of your circadian rhythm as a teenager!.
