SEVERE pain from piercing. What do I do?!
Question: SEVERE pain from piercing!. What do I do!?
I have had my ears pierced for about 7 months, and on my left ear, where it got pierced, hurts bad!. And I mean BAD! It's not just a little 'sore', it really feels like somebody forced a screw in my ear!. Just now I tried taking the earring out, and I almost cried!. So I'm afraid of taking it out!. I am putting this stuff on it called neosporin, and it's helping a little, but the pain is just unbearable!. And I really need help NOW!. Please tell me how to get rid of this pain!!

If the ear is red or is draining fluid, I seriously would see a doctor because it is probably infected and you may need a short course of medication!. The doctor can also use a pain killer before getting the earring out!.

I am thinking you have an infection at worst and a reaction to the metal post at best!. I think it is imperative that you remove the earring out!. If you can't because of pain, then have a friend do it!.
Clean your hands very well with an antibiotic or hand sanitizer before touching the ear!.
You will have to let the ear heal before piercing again!. I would NOT have it done by an amateur!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What kind of jewelry you wearing !? Brass and nickel jewelry can cause allergic reactions!.
