Answers:
Never had one but seen plenty!. This is where you stub a finger and snap off the extensor tendon at its insertion, which is the base of the last bone in a finger !. The result is that you cannot straighten the finger, the tip stays bent and floppy!. Best treatment is to put the finger into a splint which holds the finger in a fully extended position,, for up to 6 weeks!. Most of them heal but occasionally they do not, in which case a small piece of surgery can be used to pin the tendon back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
