Question: Kitten Stung by a Bee!?
My kitty was just playing around on our deck, and she tried to capture a bee!. As soon as she pounced on it, she cried and jumped back into the house!. I searched for the stinger, but was unsuccessful!. Is this an emergency!? I am not positive she was stung, she is not limping, but I am still worried!. Is there anything that I need to do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
My two cats chase wasps and bees all the time and have been stung more than once!. You don't really need to do anything!. They will lick it and care for it themselves and then forget all about it!.

Have you ever gotten stung!? As long as you're not allergic, you usually care for it like any other injury without having to go to a doctor!. I think going to the vet for this would be a waste of your money!. Just monitor your kitten's health and behavior and only take her if she is acting hurt or significantly different!.

If you're especially concerned, you can hold a warm, wet washcloth on her paw to soothe any pain, but your kitten will be just fine! =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

She will not die, she will be fine, but take her to the vet to get the sting out and maybe to get painkillers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
