Whats the easiest way to get rid of muscle cramps?!

Question: Whats the easiest way to get rid of muscle cramps!?
I just joined cheerleading, so i am not very fit, and the coaches made us work hard, so my legs hurt so bad i can hardly walk now!. My next practice is coming up really soon, and i want to be able to actually participate without having to fall down from the pain!. So anyway how can i get my muscle cramps gone faster!? I am already stretching a bit to loosen them up and i also put a hot water bottle where it hurts to loosen it up, anything more!? and how long does it usually take for them to go away!.!.!.!?
Thanks =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Stretch a lot!. Applying heat will also help!. Drink a lot of water!. Take some Mortin!. If this was your first really good exercise in a long time it will probably take 3 days to completely go away!. But exercise will actually loosen it up!. Tomorrow before practice run a few laps before and do more stretching!. Most teams don't stretch enough before practice!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Warm, moist heat!. Make sure you do lots of stretches to warm up the muscles before you train!. Pay attention to how you are supposed to be doing the routine so you aren't straining your muscles!. An anti-inflammatory like motrin/ibuprofrin before your practice will also help keep your muscles loose and keep cramps at bay!. It will probably take a couple of weeks before your cramps are totally gone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat bananas and drink plenty of water, I play football and I used to get muscle cramps all the time, not anymore though! If you do get them again stretch that area very well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat a banana!. Keep your legs moving and don't rest them because they are hurting!. Massage them, too!. You can use that icy-hot stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you start working out a lot , you shed electrolytes !.
You need something like Gatorade to replenish them !.
You shed salts and other nutrients and some info indicates B vitamin deficiencies cause cramps !.

From medicinenet >
Dehydration: Sports and other vigorous activities can cause excessive fluid loss from perspiration!. This kind of dehydration increases the likelihood of "true" cramps!. These cramps are more likely in warm weather and can be an early sign of heat stroke!. Chronic volume depletion of body fluids from diuretics (medicine that promote urination) and poor fluid intake may act similarly to predispose to cramps in seniors!. Sodium depletion has also been associated with cramps!. Loss of sodium, the most abundant chemical constituent of body fluids outside the cell, is usually a function of dehydration!.

Can vitamin deficiencies cause muscle cramps!?

Several vitamin deficiency states may directly or indirectly lead to muscle cramps!. These include deficiencies of thiamine (B1), pantothenic acid (B5), and pyridoxine (B6)!. The role of deficiency of these vitamins in causing cramps is unknown!.

But read the whole article , even tho it includes ALL cramps including like senior issues !. !. !.

good luck
