Question: Is it ok to cut a scab deeper so it would heal!?
I cut this bump on the part where the thumb bends (the middle bend)!. The bump/scab is as big as like 2 mm in diameter maybe!. Well I was wondering if it was a good idea to cut it and would the bump heal now being a wound to normal!?

No!. If you cut it without sterile equipment you are putting in more germs!. Soak it in peroxide and betadine!. Both things you can buy without a prescription!. Mix it half and half in a cup and stick your finger down in there!. Apply some triple antibiotic ointment and put on a knuckle bandaid!. If it gets hot and red and any nasty drainage or you see any red streaks from it, go to a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
hmm!.!. I don't think cutting it open will help any!. The scab means the wounds healing and by cutting it the whole process would start over, and the scar may end up being bigger then!. I would leave it alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
