Answers:
you spelled it right but it is just one word - fibromyalgia!. A good doctor does not have to guess, there are standard diagnostic techniques for it!. But most doctors are not familiar with the techniques!. If you find a good rheumatologist who has worked in the field they may be able to diagnose - and when I say diagnose I don't mean guess!.
I worked with Dr!. Don Goldenberg in the Boston area who is a major expert in the field and has written a book!. He primarily works with fibromyalgia and if you are anywhere near that area you can look him up!. If you are somewhere else I can't give you names but I am sure you will find good doctors elsewhere!. Note that till just a few years ago many doctors believed that fibromyalgia was a myth as there was not organic proof of its existence!. Though it is now clear that it is real and the FDA has even approved a drug for it there may still be remnants of the older school who have not quite caught up with the times!. Make sure you pick someone who is up to date to work with!.
Having said that I would not automatically assume you have fibromyalgia!. I don't have the details but there is a set of specific touch points distributed over your body most of which have to show pain to demonstrate fibromyalgia!. Fibromyalgia is essentially pain all over your body has has no "normal" basis - so if you got beaten up and had pain all over your body that obviously would not be fibromyalgia!. Fibromyalgia pain has no obvious apparent cause!.
But tiredness, etc!. as you describe has many possible reasons!. In my case I had it because of sleep apnea (I found out I did not have fibromyalgia)!. Another related condition that may be relevant to you is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) which you should also look up!. Your description of your symptoms seem to suggest more fatigue than pain!.

Not sure if all of that helped but I hope it gets you started!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have two things going on here, one is sleep problem resulting in muscle pain!. The other is problem with your periods!. Therefore before you go any further, try taking Evening Primrose Oil!. You can get them in capsules and they are natural anti-inflammatory!. Point being they also help to regulate your Hormones, so should help the period pain which in turn will help the sleep problem which should ease the muscle pain!. I have been on evening primrose oil for ten years and find it excellent!. Best of LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com
