Which is stronger, darvocet or norco?!
Question: Which is stronger, darvocet or norco!?
I have prescriptions of both!. My foot is broken and it hurts like hades!. All the bones are so messed up they are sticking out of my skin in the top of my foot!. I go for surgery in two days to fix it but for now it's PAIN!. So which prescription should I get filled!? I need POWERFUL RELIEF!. Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hydrocodone is the stronger of the two!. In fact, Darvocet is so weak that studies have found that most people have no greater benefit taking Darvocet, than taking the actaminophen (Tylenol) alone!. The propoxyphene/acetaminophen combination medications have been taken off the market in many countries, and are being considered for potentially being taken off the US market!.
Incidentally, it frightens me that for a person who is a paramedic and might have to manage medication issues, harmonryan doesn't seem to know that both Norco and Davocet both have acetaminophen (Tylenol) as part of the medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Norco is stronger and yes they have Tylenol!. What you need to do is call your doctor and see for these two days if they can give you something a little stronger, you may need a few after the surgery to!. There is nothing wrong with asking and if its for a few days no biggie, then you can taper down to the milder stuff!. I feel bad for you, you have to wait two days, has to be pure heck for you!. They are both about the same, Norco also known as Hydrocodone and Darvocet are both Narcotics!. It depends on what strengths you were perscribed!. Also if either of then have Acetaminophine in them that will enchance the power of the drug!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
norco and DO NOT TAKE THE TWO TOGETHER!.!. If you take norco and darvocet you could have a Psycho reaction and it is not pleasant!. You could have violent thoughts!.!.!.!.Very VIOLENT thoughts and could do something!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
