When I had mine done they sprayed freeze spray on my stomach area first so it didnt hurt at all!.!.!.!.
Some piercers have slightly different techniques!.!.!. mine had this like small pinchers thing that he used to grip the skin and then he push the piercing needle through (its like hollow so that the piercing can then be pushed through it and the needle is just pulled out and your piercing is in place!. Sounds awful but its really not!.!.!.!.
Its very quick, my friend had hers done too and shes a real wimp (hehe her words not mine) and she was fine too!
You should be fine!.!.!.dont worry about it as its well worth it as it looks great!!!!

Its pretty simple!. They clean the area then use a tool to pinch the area where you are getting pierced!. The needle thats used is an open-holed needle so it takes out a small chunk of skin then they slip the jewelry thru!. The pain depends on what you can handle!. I didn't think it was bad at all and got it done way back when I was 16!. You can take some Tylenol or whatever about a half hour before to help too!. Don't worry!.
