Inner Eyelid Injury Inquiry?!

Question: Inner Eyelid Injury Inquiry!?
I don't know how, but I have managed to get a minor cut on the inside of my lower eyelid!. At first I did not know that was the case; my vision in that eye would get semi-clouded and I would wipe my eye and a little bit of green gunk would come out and then I could see again!. That evening I put in sterile eye drops and it burned like hell, this would be how I figured it was a cut!. The eye became slightly swollen and fairly sensitive to pressure!. I've been repeating the eye drops several times an hour since, I haven't seemed to have a problem with the green gunk since!.

My questions are:
What is normal healing time for a small injury like this!?
Are the eye drops enough to prevent infection!?
Is there any need to go see a doctor, or will they just tell me to keep doing what I am doing!?

Thanks for your help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Hi Kaytee!.

You are doing the right thing but if the infection, that is what the green gunk is, doesn't clear up in the next 12 hours I would strongly recommend you see your Doctor!. The blurred vision is probably the the gunk spreading across the pupil!. You only get one set of eyes,so look after them!. The Doctor will examine your eye and eyelid and may prescribe an antibiotic ointment or drops!.

Hope you get on o!.k!. and it clears up quickly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
