Question: What helps give me a boost, as Im always tired!?
My doctor checked my iron levels and theyre fine but somehow Im always feeling tired and drained!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Iron merely helps your red blood cells carry oxygen!. Assuming that you get 8 hrs of sound sleep each night and you have a good and balanced diet, there are about 21 other factors to consider!.!.!.!.age, weight, potassium level, and daily activity!. You also do not mention is your are muscle tired or sleepy tired!.

My first guess is that you do not get enough exercise!. Listless people are amazed in as little as 10 days of regular vigorous exercise how much their energy level improved!. Exercise releases endomorphines to trigger other enzymes to balance sugars, use proteins and make you happy and energetic!.

Get your weight under control, exercise 1 hour each day (walk four miles, ride a bicycle 20 miles, swim one mile, use freewights, stretch, get sleep, eat low-fat meals with fiber, fruits and vegetables, take a daily vitamin, take omega-3 (fish oil) and change your attitude!.

If all of that is done, you may have a sleep disorder called apnea that is preventing you from getting into your REM sleep pattern!. If you are in bed 8 hrs each night, but take alcohol before you retire, your sleep will also be restless and even after 8 hrs in the sack, your quality sleep time is low and you are tired!.
