Question: Sciatica for 3 months , any advice !?
My partner has been having sciatica for the past 3 months, he s going to the chiropracter each week, he s on anti inflamatorry and pain killers , he still works!. But the pain is driving him mad, any tips or advice !? Does that mean he s going to have surgery !? He s booked for a spinal specialist, and I have booked him for acupunture this week as well!. The x ray didnt reveal anything !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It all depends on whatthe doctor says, if the xray didn't show anything then maybe you need a MRI scan to see whats going on around the discs of the spine!. Did he have a accident or can you remember what happened to make it so bad!. Dont mean to frighten you but i had sciatica for years on and off really bad and had to have surgery on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Try a holistic massage, it's always worked for me!. Some local community centres offer this service, and it's a lot cheaper than going private!. I think chiropractors are a bit heavy for sciatica, as it's bone manipulation rather than for nerve pain, which is what sciatica actually is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
