Question: I'm on my feet all day and i get terrible pains in my knees and ankles, help!?
i also get horrible pain on the bottom of my heels!. is there anything i can do !? thanks guys appreciate it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

at most stores and restaurants, the area of the floor behind the register is padded to keep just this from happening!. It relieves pressure from your feet, and helps you retain your posture!. Likewise, if you wear comfortable shoes and padded shoe inserts (dr scholls or the like) you can help relieve the pressure from those sensitive joints!.
I know the feeling!. I worked at Mcdonald's after a number of knee surgeries when I turned 16!. Standing for hours behind the register (they took the pad I was talking about away, because they claimed it got too slippery!.!.!.)hurt so bad, I had to quit after two months!.

Take motrin (or generic ibuprofin) when you know you'll be standing for long, and keep a bottle on you so that you can take more as needed!. When you get home, ice your knees, and apply a heat pad to your back and give your feet a salt bath in a heated foot spa!. When you go to sleep, tuck a pillow beneath your knees, and two more under your feet- elevating will relieve swelling and pain!. If needed, keep the ice pack (wrapped in a washcloth for comfort) on your knees!.

That sucks to be in pain and just from standing!. I would have to look and evaluate your posture, your shoes (this is a big one) and your weight distribution!.

So to alleviate some of your pain I would suggest better shoe's, improve your posture either with exercise and some strength training and occasionally get a foot massage!. I hope some of those things help!.

This may shock you but your problem is easily solved really-
which is " SIT DOWN, GET OFF your feet,refuse to stand for such long hours! it just don't make sense if it is a job find a sitting one right away!

Buy those Dr!. Scholls things!. I stand on my feet all day too and when I got home I would hate to have to get up because the bottoms of my feet would hurt!. Buy those gel pads and trust me you will not feel pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you should get foot inserts!?
like dr!. shouls or something!.!.!. they might help
