I'm having trouble swallowing a pill.?!
Question: I'm having trouble swallowing a pill!.!?
Any advice or tips on how to swallow one!? It's very small, about 3 millimeters wide by 10 millimeters long, but can be cut in half to 3 x 5!. I have the fear of choking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put it as far back in your throat as possible!. Then, try to keep it there while taking a sip of water!. Don't think about swallowing the pill, just think about swallowing the water!. Cut the pill in half if it's still to big to swallow at once!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
don't cut it as some pills are time release and need to stay intact to work once they reach your lower intestines!. Instead just put it in your mouth and GULP a few large swallows of milk or juice!. I have found things go down better this way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
put the pills as far back on your tongue as possible, then push them with a big gulp of water!. worked for me when i was a tot and i had fear of pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't "try" to swallow pills!. I just put them in my mouth and then drink something as I normally would!. It goes down a lot easier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
