Question: Help!!! Now!!! PLEASE!!!!!!?
My left ankle hurts, and I don't know why it should hurt!. I was doing a lot of walking today, more than I usually do for me during this summer!. Could I have sprained or twisted it!? What should I do!? Should I put a wrap on it!? HELP!!! Thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
Wrap the ankle with an ACE type bandage!. Then elevate your foot, ice/bag of frozen veggies on for 15 min, off 45, on 15 off 45!. It sounds like a minor sprain!. Most likely because of all the walking in your backless shoes(mules/clogs!.) If it is still tender tomorrow its your choice, which ever feels better ice packs or warm packs!. It could well be caused by walking in shoes that had no support in them!. If it's not very swollen then it's unlikely that you've injured it but I'm not a doctor or anything!. Put some ice on it (either an ice pack or some ice wrapped in a towel otherwise you could get ice burn) to reduce inflammation and help it heal!. For things like this you usually use the RICE treatment or PRICE treatment!.!.!. basically the same thing really!. RICE stands for Rest Ice Compression Elevation!. For PRICE, it's the same but the P stands for Protection!.

Okay you need to Use a cooling pad for up to twenty four hours and then use a hot pad the rest and then when you walk or exercise it after wards use the cool pad for that time

Now remember you need to use the cool pack on and off fifteen minutes on and fifteen minutes off WARNING if you don't your ankle or leg will go into hyperthermia and you'll be in worse problems thenn your inWww@Answer-Health@Com
