Did the Drug Make My Blood Pressure Go Up?!
Question: Did the Drug Make My Blood Pressure Go Up!?
Three weeks ago I had a UTI!. The doctor put me on Bactrim DS for 10 days and it did the trick!. He told me to take the following every day to prevent recurrence:
500 mg Vitamin C
500 mg Cranberry
2 teaspoons of baking soda in a glass of water,
twice a day
I haven't had a recurrence but my blood pressure has gone sky high! Could any or all of these be causing it!? What about the Bactrim!? I can't find any info about how long it stays in your system!. While taking it I developed nightsweats and a metallic taste in my mouth which is going away but still bothers me!. Thanks for any help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
