Question: First AID/ CPR Training!?
i took a cpr/first aid class a while back and i remember them sayng that if a victim asks for water in an emergency situation, you are not allowed to give it to them!. Does anyone know why!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because you really don't know what is going on inside of the person!. It also depends on what type of emergency!. Water in some situations can be bad like if the person ingested some type of poison that has a reaction to water!. A person could pass out while drinking and aspirate water into the lungs!. I Don't know what kind of emergency situation you are talking about but there could be endless possibilities for different emergencies!. also no water should be anywhere near the AED!.
