Only my left earlobe is bleeding! Why?!

Question: Only my left earlobe is bleeding! Why!?
I have had my ears pierced for 13 years and have never had this problem!. Recently my left ear lobe has been irritated- but I've been able to wear my earings with no issues!. Tonight I took my earings out and the left piercing just started bleeding!
A LOT!. There is no pus, and has been no redness or pain putting the earrings in and out all week!
why is it one side!? Why so much blood!?
I'm not alergic to any types of metal/ earring materials!.
Any ideas!? I'm just concerned!. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol, and peroxide- and currently it has stopped bleeding, but uncomfortable to touch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
give it a week or so before you wear earrings!. and when you do wear them again wear something light in weightWww@Answer-Health@Com

i wonder if you bought a cheaper pair of earrings and they somehow irritated the area!?

but you are right, it should be more red and have some pus

did you have a nap or anything!? i wonder if you 'pulled' it during a nap or something!?

this is odd, i've never had this situation without any 'trauma' like hitting it or getting it caught on something

i think you did the right thing by treating it with rubbing alcohol and peroxide

if it gets worse i'd get it looked at

for the time being i'd be happy that there is no pain and keep an eye on it

good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

its infected!. you dont need to be allergic to metal to get bacteria in yuor ear!. maybe there was something on the earring when you put it in your ear, maybe you caught something, who knows!. just keep disinfecting it and put salve on it!. Dragonmist works really well!. just dont put polysporin on it! its the worst thing for your ear infectionsWww@Answer-Health@Com

that happened with my right ear
it could be a zit
or mabey you scratched it
or a bug could have gotten in there
well thats what happened to me at least
all 3

or its infected
mabey your earring went in wrong
that happened to my friend
plenty of time
hope i helped

You better see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that happened to my friend!. dont worry, just clean it up alot and it will heal,Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can either leave it be!.!.then get it pierced again!.or you can put in a sterile plain earring and just leave it alone!.!.!.do not touch it at all!.!.if you have to make sure your hands are VERY clean!.
i have many piercings and believe the key to success is in not messing with them!.i never change my jewellery and they are all made of stainless steel!.
the bleeding will be because you have somehow nicked a blood vessel whilst changing the jewellery!.no swelling or pus is a good sign!.just be careful when changing that earring as there is clearly a bllod vessel close to the site of the piercing that is vulnerable to breaking!.you won't bleed to death, but it's not ideal!.having it repierced after it has healed could position it better!.you might consider this if the problem recurs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
