hi!. im getting a shoulder mri tomorrrow with injection!. this will be my second mri and im only 13!. im getting it done on my shoulder!. its my first time with the injection and im getting it done at a children's hospital!. we just got a quick call yesterday saying that there was a cancellation so we took it!. they didnt say anything about not eating beforehand or anything, but i read on the internet that if i eat and get the injection i could get nauseaus!. sorry for the spelling :P!. if my appnt is at 10:45, should i be there earlier!? should i eat beforehand!? any tips or advice!. also, will the mri scanner be smaller than the first time even though they do adult scans there 2 hours a day too!? cause i went to a adult place before!. any tips or advice!? im really nervous!. !

I got one done with injection!. Actually I ate right before I went in and I didn't get any nausea, but everyone is different though!. I would arrive at least 15 minutes early b/c there is usually paperwork that needs filled out, and that can take some time!. Also don't wear your hair in a ponytail, b/c I did that and b/c I was lying down when I got mine, it really hurt my head and I couldn't move to take it out!. Don't be nervous, it's nothing to be afraid of, it really simple and painless (with the exception of the injection, which only stings for a sec!. as I'm sure you know) Good luck I hope everthing turns out ok for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
arrive 15-20 minutes earlier and eating before never bothered me!.!.!.!.just PEE before you go, sometimes the injection can make you feel warm 'down there' and make you feel like you're gonna wet your pants!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.(kinda like sticking your feet in warm water, ya know what I mean!?)Www@Answer-Health@Com
