Does anyone have advise for taking care of my finger laceration and the issues t!

Question: Does anyone have advise for taking care of my finger laceration and the issues that come with it!?
I recently cut my index finger on my right hand open and had to get stitches!. It is imaginably quite difficult to do many things well, with any amount of speed, or without pain!. Doctors didn't give me anything for pain so before you tell me to take some pain pills, please realize I don't have any! Maybe if you have been without a digit before, you know some ways to cope and to expediate healing!. Problems so far involve washing my hair, getting dressed, brushing my hair, putting on make-up for work, etc!. Any real advise is much appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
First thing is first, you have to let it heal!. That means doing very few things instead of trying to do anything with great speed!. It should not hurt much!. However moving it or bending it can cause pain, so do not do it!. You should not experience any pain while at rest or with gentle touching, if you do that can be a sign of a problem (most likely a infection)!. Keep it clean and dry!. Your daily activities may have to be abbreviated or even removed from your daily routine!. You should plan ahead and allow yourself a lot more time to do your daily activities such as your hair, getting dressed and the like!. If you live with someone it might help if you ask someone one for a little help!. Maybe ask someone to help you wash your hair in the sink before or after you go to bed and help you with your make up in the mornings!. Other tasks you are just going to have to be careful doing!. Keep wearing the splint to help keep you from moving your finger!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pain pills should NEVER be taken unless you are in severe pain, they can make you constipated AND cause many other complications!. Splint it for support, when I broke my finger( several of mine have been broken badly) I taped it to the finger next to it for support!. Soaking your finger in Epsom salt may also help promote healing and get adequate intake of protein because protein helps with new cell growth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
