Answers:
If moving your head/neck leads to pain, try to restrict any sharp movements!. I would recommend putting a warm towel around your neck, as this will relax your muscles!. You might also want to take a small dosage of pain killer, to ease any uncomfortable feelings!. Usually time is the best healer for minor injuries like muscle aches and pains!.

I would also try to figure out what made your neck hurt in the first place!. If this isn't the first time this has happened, try and prevent it from reoccurring by changing your posture, or doing simple exercises if you often sit at a computer, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

fill a sock with rice, tie the other end of sock and microwave it( one minute) and use it as a heat pack for your neck

you can also try cold packs

motrin is a good antiinflammatory

get a professional massage

if these things do not work see a chiropractor for alignment or your primary physician for further diagnosisWww@Answer-Health@Com

when my neck feels stiff I just move it to the sides a little and up and down to get rid of the stiffness!. i move it left, right, up down!. then i move it left-up-right, then the other way and then left-down-right and then the other way!.
hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
