Question: It hurts!!?
yesterday i had b-ball practice (i am on a all guys team!.) and one guy pushed me and i hurt my ankle!. It is red, swollen, and hurts very badley!.Can I gets some advise about what happened!.Thank you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you are in a conciderable amount of pain and cannot walk or put weight on it, get to the hospital fast, you mite have sprained it or worse!.

otherwise, you might have just pulled a tendon or muscle which will also cause pain but will go away in a couple days while being careful of how much physical activity you exert on it!.

but yes, by all means, see a doctor!.

Hi!. It sounds like a strain or sprain!. Ice your ankle 2-3 times a day for 20 minutes while your leg is higher than your heart, and bandage it while up and about!. (If you don't have an ice pack, you can substitute a bag of frozen peas!.)

When I sprained my ankle it got really swollen, really quickly!. It looked like someone slipped half a golf ball under my skin!.

It didn't really hurt unless I tried to walk with it!.

I went to the hospital and he put a semi-cast on it with a couple ACE bandages!. I had to use crutches for two weeks!.

Maybe when he pushed you, you fell moved in an unusual position!. And your ankle twisted, or moved out of place, or possibly its just strained!. have the doctore check it out!. Or put cold ice water on it!. try not to move allotWww@Answer-Health@Com
