Question: Can ppl who work in the medical field PLZ help me!?
I want to be a pediatrician but i am deathly scared of seeing vomit!. Is it a normal thing to see vomit while working everyday, and how bad!? Will they literally let u run away if u can't take it!?
Also, how to get over it!? im a teenage girl so will it go away eventually!?

1) Most doctors get immune to "gross" things!.!.!.just sit next to a table of them at lunch & hear things that would make most people vomit!.
2) As a teenager, you have a LONG road ahead of you until you actually get to the point where you a) would take care of patients and b) have to actually decide what career you'll end up in!. I don't know statistics but I suspect most people entering med school end up changing their mind about what specialty they'll enter!.
3) As above, the nurses usually deal with the mess!.
4) As someone once told me "You know, if you want to e a doctor you'll have to take care of sick people" I don't think I ever looked at that person with a straight face again!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
