Sunburn Control?!
Question: Sunburn Control!?
My oldest son (10) has had a severe sunburn a few months ago that caused large blisters and he had to have an RX creme to help heal it all up!.
Well today he was out in the sun again--This time with sun screen and avoiding the high points in midday!--And he's burnt pretty bad!. It's already very red and he's sore!. I've given Motrin and currently a cold compress of just water!.
Should/could I use his past RX creme to try and head anything off now before it gets worse!? Or should I take him to the ER tonight!?
I really don't understand this!. Me and all 3 of my kids are blonde/blue eyed, but me and my younger kids do not burn like this!. Even when we're all out in the sun for the same amount of time, my eldest always seems to get the worst of it!. But only recently!. He wasn't like this when he was younger!. Some medications when being taken the person should stay out of the sun!.
I would use the Rx that you were given before!.
I hope he's feeling better soon & you get some answers from the doctor in the morning!.

I would take him to the ER tonight!. There are a lot of other things that can go on with bad sunburn, such as depletion of electrolytes and dehydration!. Better safe than sorry!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
OMG! Keep him out of the sun! He might get skin cancer!. The sun rays are so bad for anyone!.!.blonde or not!. You should put something on his skin immediately and call your doctor and tell him what happened!. Get his advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Try a higher spf!. Use 90 spf or higher!. That should help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
