How do I remove contact lens stuck under my eyelid?!

Question: How do I remove contact lens stuck under my eyelid!?
It's a disposable soft lens, it's got totally lost in my eye -- underneath the bottom eyelid is my guess!.

It's been 6 hours (I had to get some sleep) and after reading advice, I've tried eye drops etc!. to make the lens resurface, but it hasn't worked!. I don't see any sign of it!.

1!. If I do go to the hospital, what is the actual procedure that they use to remove the lens!? I want to know exactly what it is they do that cannot be replicated at home before I decide to make my way there!.

2!. Will it hurt if I just chance it and insert a fresh contact lens onto the affected eye because I have to go out tonight!. (I'm not in great pain or anything now, I can slightly feel a foreign object but that's it)!.

3!. How many days can I leave it before it gets serious!?

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe that you havent got it stuck at all, and it has fallen out, and the eyeball is scratched!. (i once went to a p*issed guy who was trying to take one out, but was actually trying to pull his real lense off! ow)!. often a scratch feels like a foreign body in the eye!. if it is still in there, then putting a new one in and going out and getting drunk(im guessing thats what ll happen), will not help at all!. you could make things reall nasty!.same for leaving it, would not be a good idea,as an infection could leave you with permanent eye damage!. is it really worth it for a night out!?
my guess is it isnt there!.!.!.

at hospital, they will squirt some glow in the dark/uv dye stuff in it, then look at the eye with a special magnifer and look for scratches foreign bodies that show up very well post dye!.
they may also prescribe drops to help it heal, which you cant get at the chemist!.

you cant do much at home except flush it with saline/ sterile water, and you wont be able to see the problem properly anyway!. bite the bullet and go to A&E/ED my friend, you'll probably be done by tonight unless you ve caused major damage!.

and NO days, it already is serious if you leave it to get infected!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dont think you should put a new one in!.!.!. because then it might get infected!.!.!. but just feel round your eye and try to push it back round, it definitely can't have got all the way round the back of your eye because it's sort of sealed!.!.!. so maybe if you can't feel it then it's not actually there!.!.!. if you know it;s still there and you cant get it out then i would go to the hospital!.!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I did that once, not that long but what i did was look as far down as I could with my head tilted up and put alot of eyedrops in, then closed the eye looked all the way up and placed a finger at the top of the eye with light pressure and rolled it down until the contact came down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
