Question: Weird sliver in foot! Help Please!!!!!?
Hi, my mom has a big sliver in her foot, she has had it for around ten days and started hurting a week ago!. It is infected!.
She can not get it out because it is in her heel and she limps and its gone into a big ball!. She soaks it a lot and puts balm on it!. Besides "go to your doctor" can anyone help me here!?

drink pineapple juice, it contains Bromelain, which reduces inflammation!. or try Arnica gel !. also up your protein and drink vitamin c to help your immune system!. after the swelling goes down, take a peice of duct-tape and put it over the sliver, press down gently, and try to pull it out that way!. but it is also important to know what that sliver is made of, because certain materials can cause blood poisoning which can be fatal if untreated, hope it helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
First off, avoid walking on that foot!. Second, I know they don't sell crutches in stores but they do sell canes!. Get that if you can't get to a doctor sooner!.
Also, the "cure all" medication called petroleum jelly might be something to look into as a topical shield!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
