Before the 30th gets here, you need to contact a family member to come stay with you and keep your child, because I guarantee you!.!.!.you are gonna have gall bladder surgery!! Your mom, his mom, a sister, aunt, grandmother, friend!.!.!.somebody!. Your also gonna need someone to drive you to the hospital for the surgery and bring you home!.

The surgery is a day surgery procedure!. In early in the morning, out by afternoon, but you will sleep for the rest of the day from the anesthesia, its normal!. Try to have a family member or friend stay with you at least for a week!.

If push comes to shove!.!.!.if you have family, that cannot come to you!.!.then go to them!. You can have your records transfered to where ever you want, and have the surgery there!. Please don't put off, it will only get worse and you don't want to have to have emergency gallbladder surgery!. At least this way, you have time to make the necessary plans for both you and your child!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have seen where others that had gallstones took some kind ot pain meds like vidocan (sp!?)!. It you are having pain and do have gallstones or your gallbladder is inflamed it will need to come out!. It is an out patient surgery, but you will probably need some one with you the first couple of days cause you can't lift anything over 10 lbs!. If you don't want to take pain meds, about all you can do is watch the fats in what you eat and try to just eat small meals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like your husband is in the Military so you must have Tricare!. Whoever diagnosed you w/stones should have told you this stuff!. I'm assuming they gave you pain medications!. The best thing to avoid pain from gallstones is to avoid eating fatty foods at all cost!. That stimulates release of bile and increases the chance of stone going into the bile duct (which causes the pain)!. They usually take out the whole gallbladder!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You HAVE to have the gallbladder removed if you are in pain!. You don't pass gallstones anyways!. It doesn't work like that!. Pain meds only work for a short amount of time!. See a doctor ASAP!Www@Answer-Health@Com

try a 5-6 day apple juice fast!. Drink as much as you want, lots and lots of fresh apple juice, 6-8 big glasses a day!. If the juice seems too sweet, cut it with one part water to six parts juice!.

it works at least for my friends and me

some tried it this way:
Begin with an apple juice fast!. Start at 6:00 am by drinking 8 oz!. of apple juice!. Do this every half-hour to hour until 6:00 pm (12 hours)!. Freshly juiced organic apples is best!. If you do not have access to a juicer, then get a good quality, non-filtered, unsweetened brand at your local health food store!. Apple juice is high in malic acid, which will soften the stones!.
At 6:00 pm, stop drinking the juice!. Wait one hour!.
At 7:00 pm, drink 4 oz!. of good quality, organic olive oil and a 2 oz!. fresh-squeezed lemon juice chaser!. Some people have problems with drinking the olive oil!. Putting a few drops of peppermint oil will help make it more palatable!.
Wait 15 minutes and repeat step 3!.
Go to bed!. At about midnight, you will have to go to the bathroom, and guess what you will find in the toilet!? More than likely you will see little green things ranging in size from pieces of sand to chicken eggs, commonly called "gall stones!."
This whole procedure should be repeated about one week later!. Sometimes the gall stones will not come out the first time around!.
The actual cost of this cleanse is about $10!.00!. Compared to the cost of the "medical cure" of surgery, I'd say that's a pretty good deal!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Avoiding fried foods and fat is most important!. Agree with the advice you got for pain relief!. Try small meals!. If you have persistent unrelenting pain go to the ER as you can have an obstruction by a stone in the bile duct and then your gallbladder can become infected and swollen like in appendicitis!. This is not common but you need to know 'cause sounds like you are alone with a little one to care for!. Hopefully you already have lined up a friend or relative to come stay with you a few days after the surgery!. I'd call my Mom and ask for a two week stay just so you can get your energy back and be able to chase the little and care for him!. They take so much energy!. When we are in pain we tend to be grumpy!. Babies pick up on this and then they respond by being clingy, crying and unhappy!. You both benefit from a little break!. Remember to take a fecal softener or eat fruit or high fiber plus lots of fluids to combat constipation caused by pain medications!. That alone can cause misery like nausea, lack of appetite, bloating and pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get that gallbladder taken out!!!! The pains get worse over time, and will never go away!. You will always worry about what you eat and if they will hit!.

The surgery is soooo easy, if they do it the larascopic way!. They make tiny incisions in you to hold the tools, they blow you up full off air and pull it (the gallbladder) out of your belly button!. (they cut a slit in your belly button) It's outpatient surgery also!.

I was told to take Maalox or Mylanta~I can't remember which one, but at times it didn't work!. Try to keep the acids/grease down in your stomach, and don't eat anything too bulky, like licorice!.!.!. You may, want to take, an antacid before you eat, so it doesn't flair up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
