Blisters rising four days after sunburn? Is this unusual? Should I pop them?!
Question: Blisters rising four days after sunburn!? Is this unusual!? Should I pop them!?
I was pretty badly sunburned on Monday and have been liberally applying aloe/lotion since then!. I started peeling yesterday and stopped putting on aloe because I was told a peeling sunburn didn't need aloe!. Just today a few scattered blisters have started popping up on my chest!. They're small and soft and seem to be slightly irregularly shaped, not large and perfectly round like the ones I've seen in pictures!. I'm wondering if this is unusual behavior for a sunburn and whether or not I should pop them or leave them be!. Thanks for any help!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Leave them be!. This is your bodies immune system!. Keep the blisters as long as you can and your skin will re-absorbed the liquid in them!. I don't think these would get infected, since they are the small ones with clear fluid!.
Keep applying lotion (something like with aloe or cocoa butter)!. Try taking vitamin e (it's also great to puncture and apply with lotion on burns)!. And keep clean!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't pop them; you have a second degree burn and popping blisters can lead to infection and even shock!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
