How do you stitch yourself up?!

Question: How do you stitch yourself up!?
Worse case scenario, say you got lost in the woods or something and u get a massive scrape that needed stitches, how do you fix that!? I'm looking for methods more leaning towards stapling or sewing a wound close, but any improvisational method is fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Firstly, I'd run water in the wound; then pour an ounce of vodka or whiskey over the opening and keep still as it settles!. This will sting immensely for a few seconds, then numb the wound completely, as well as sterilize and clean it!.

I would then simply bandage it!. I don't see the point in stitches, generally!. I've had some pretty big flesh wounds but I've never even set foot inside a hospital as a patient in my life!. I just keep it bandaged and put vodka on the wound every day until it's healed!.

In old times, the wound would be seared shut, rather than stitched!. Not as bad as it sounds!. The wound is dried, cleaned, and fused shut all at once!. It would be done by pressing a red-hot tool to the wound, voila, all done!. At that point it was already numbed anyway, so no big deal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The problem with 'super glue' is the chemicals in it!. While it is a cyanoacralate, regular super glue contains chemicals that are not good for the body!. Medical super glue (Dermabond) does not have the same chemicals, so it is safer to use; but also, Dermabond has limitations on its use (certain size, location, shape, or other variation of cuts have to be sutured)!.

I know how to close wounds with staples, suture, Dermabond, and other methods!. I carry a skin stapler, suture (3!.0 and 4!.0 monofiliment), and Dermabond in my first aid kit!. I also carry 1% Lidocaine and Marcaine for local anesthesia!. More important is also to carry regular bandages and dressings, splints, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

super glue!. believe it or not it was designed by the military to be used in war as a quick way to close a wound!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
