hey i went camping and got bit by a tick and pulled it off now there is this bump that itches really bad is it supposed to do that or not help pleaseWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is possible that the tick's head is still in there!. I know that is gross,but actually when you find a tick, you are suppossed to find a way for it to back its head out of your body before pulling it out!. Such as lighting a match, blow it out, and then touch it to the back side of the tick!. The way that Ticks attach themselves onto a host is to actually bury their head into the skin!. This could be one reason you are itching like you are!. Another reason is that you are having a reaction to the enzyme that the tick's supply through their mouths to keep your blood from coagulating so that they have a readily available supply of "food"!. Either way, watch the area really closely!. If it does not get better by Monday, I would go to the doctor to make sure that you don't have some type of infection there!. Also remember that Ticks carry diseases, so you really also want to watch out for long term signs as well!. I'm not trying to scare you here, I just know that Lyme disease is not pleasant to deal with it!. My sister has it!. She was diagnosed when she was 21, and the doc said that she had probably contracted it atleast 6 months before she started showing any signs!. Any way, just keep an eye on that spot, and don't be afraid to visit the doctor if anything changes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You might want to see a doctor because you aren't supposed to pull it off because the head could get stuck in your skin!. Put some "After Bite", or household ammonia on it!. It itches because of the anti-clotting chemical the tick put in you!.
