Question: No Tubes in ears!.!.!.need cleaned!?
my husband does not have tubes in his ears and they need cleanned!.!.!.well he sayd he wants to avoid the doctor because it hurts so bad when they clean his ears!.!.!.
he says its hard to hear and there was some blood in them when he used a q-tip the other day!.!.!.any suggestions!? NO LIQUID CAN GO INTO HIS EARSWww@Answer-Health@Com

He should try an over the counter softening agent before he has his ears cleaned!. The wax is really packed in if it has affected his hearing!. I know from personal experience how much it hurts when you don't soften it first!. My husband's doctor told him to use Debrox and then come back for the cleaning!. It was much more pleasant for him!.
The blood comes from poking around in there!. His skin is bleeding!. I've done that, too!. Don't poke around there!. You are just tamping down the wax!.

Walgreens has it on their website including a kit!. There are customer comments on how it worked!.

I had a doctor work on me once and he tried for what seemed like an hour!. Pain the whole time!. Then he either gave me some softening drops or had me buy some!. The job was done with no pain in less than 5 minutes several days later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would go to the doctor!. If he is that stubborn, try some peroxide!. Tilt the head and fill it with peroxide!. It will work on the wax and clean it up a bit!. You will hear a bubbling sound!. After about 10 minutes when it stops, tilt the head back and get it out, then rinse it out with warm water!. Use a ear squeeze to squirt the water in!. It may wash out some loose wax, and clean out all of the peroxide!. This may give a little relief, but he still should see the doctor!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Hmmmm, now I remember why I refused to get tubes!. Face it, you're going to need a doctor, or try one of them wax candle thingamagigs that you set on fire!. You have to be very gentle with Q-Tips!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
