how should i treat a big circular cut gash in my knee so it scabs over within a week!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will scab naturally, thats how your body heals itself!. Put some antiseptic on it and a piece of gauze or bandage to keep it from infection but make sure it can still breathe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Make sure you remove all dirt and debris from the wound!. Wash with a gentle soap such as Ivory dishwashing soap, and rinse it well under running water!. Use lukewarm water!.
If it's a cut, where you can pull the edges of the skin together, use butterfly bandages to do so!.
If there is an area where the skin is actually missing, use a sterile gauze pad to cover it up!.
Use of an antibiotic ointment has not been shown to affect healing, however it is useful in keeping the wound from drying out and cracking, which could give way to germs!.
Your goal is to prevent bacteria from getting into the wound, thus infecting it!.
Use common sense!.!.!. don't kneel in the dirt, don't pick or scratch the scab etc!.
If it is a rather large and deep wound, you should see a health care professional, you might need stitches or antibiotics!.

Cean it well and flush it out with water!. Check to make sure it is not to deep and does not need stirches!. ( if you can see tissue inside of the cut it probibly is to deep and you need stiches) Take some first aid tape and tape the edges back togeather!. you should go to the ER just in case you need stitches!. It could get infected if you don't go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
