Answers:
Have you had any blood tests lately that check your blood counts!? You may want to go to the doctor and get that done!.
If you bruise easily at other times, say, if someone should poke you with a finger and you get a big bruise, it may be a symptom of a deficiency in your blood count!.
Get checked out!.
If nothing is off, then you may just need to increase your vitamin intake, especially C, which promotes capillary healing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone bruises from times to time!. If one is constantly banging against furniture or involved in heavy contact sports, bruises are expected!. Some people bruise easily, while others can be knocked about frequently with no apparent bruising!. However, there may be some factors to explain why you bruise easily!.

The amount of fat covering your body may be a contributing factor if you tend to bruise easily!. If you do not have an adequate layer of body fat, then bruises will sometimes appear with the slightest knock!. This is one of the reasons why some elderly people and children bruise easily!. They may not have adequate fat on their arms and legs and may tend to bruise easily in these areas!.

Bruising occurs when blood vessels under the skin break or burst due to a knock or injury!. When damaged, the capillaries leak blood under the skin, and purplish or red bruising results!. The colors of the bruise will change as the swelling dies down and the bruise fades!.

Bruising does not only occur on the skin's surface!. Deeper bruising can affect the tissues and organs!. Although you will not be able to see these bruises, they can still swell and cause pain!. A doctor should be consulted for any internal injury or pain!.

Another reason that some people bruise easily is a rare genetic disorder called von Willebrand disease, which prevents the blood from clotting properly!. This disorder affects at least 1% of the population!. The symptoms of von Willebrand disease include excessive bleeding, especially in the nose and gums!. The condition can also cause sufferers to bruise easily, typically in unusual locations!. Symptoms of von Willebrand disease can be very mild, and for this reason, the condition often goes undetected!. Von Willebrand disease is treated with a medication called Desmopressin!.

Bruising is not abnormal!. In some cases, you may bruise easily for no apparent reason from time to time!. The colors of a bruise can sometimes look frightening, but they depend on the severity of the injury!. If you experience any bruising that seems unusual, consult a doctor!. Bruising can sometimes be a symptom of other illness, such as an irregularity in the liver or the blood clotting mechanism!.

If you bruise easily due to accidental or sports-related injuries, it is best to limit the amount of bleeding that occurs!. This can be achieved simply by applying an ice pack to the area!. If you have no ice available, simply take a bag of frozen vegetables from the freezer and apply it to the bruise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been told by my doctor having low iron in your blood can be the culprit of easy skin bruising!. I have that problem where I bruise very easy!. The slightest bump into a wall with my arm can cause a bruise in hours!. You don't have to have anything health wise to be wrong with you to have this problem!. It's your type of skin!. Sensitive skin can cause this!. I am Irish so my skin is very fair and sensitive to cause me these dark bruises!. I know that everything is fine in the health department with me that would not cause this!. You may have done something earlier in the day that caused you to wake up the next to notice the bruise!. Usually bruises don't show up until about 12 hours later!. Try putting more iron in your diet!. More iron helps thicken blood!. My doctor told me that and it helps sometimes!. Otherwise, it's just the nature of the beast in genetics of skin!. I know how you feel!. People always say: "Geese girl, how the hell did that happen to your arm!?!?" It's the simplest thing and causes these icky nasty bruises!.

I'm not sure if you know but bruises go through stages of healing!. They start off a certain color and then go through different colors as they heal!. It's the blood vessels that have been impacted to cause nasty bruises!. I hope I helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To be honest, you should really just see a doctor, after looking up symptoms and stuff carefully online!. Also don't scare yourself into thinking there is something majorly wrong with you, or you'll just trick yourself into thinking its worse than it is, Definetly see a doctor if you're truly concerned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to take more vitamin C!. I recommend 500mg once or twice a day with meals!. Also, try to find a tablet that also contains bioflavinoids!. They help strengthen capillaries!.
If bruising still is a problem after you do this, get a check up from a medical doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
