Dislocated knee?!

Question: Dislocated knee!?
I recently dislocated my patella (about 1 month ago) and was told by the doctor to let it rest!. So I did that though i still walked around on it!. It has felt weak ever since but I went to the doctor and she said i would be fine to start using it again!. I horse ride frequently and was told i could now go back to doing it!. I have ridden twice this week and it was fine but then on saturday I sat down funny and i'm not really sure what happened; everthing in my knee seemed to twist around but it wasn't dislocated!. Now it feels even weaker!. Does anybody know any exercises I could do to strengthen the muscles around it and how long will it take before i can ride again!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Go to a physical therapist so a professional and check out your own individual injury!. They can observe where you are weak and then give you exercises to do every day or every other day during the week!. You can possibly request for some exercises that you can do at home too, so then all you do is pay for the one visit and then do the exercises with a band or whatever at home on your own time!. That's what I did when I dislocated my shoulder last year!.

That's the best thing to do, because if you look up exercises for it elsewhere or get it from other people that don't know your situation it's not going to work out best for you and/or possibly even heal those tendons and ligaments correctly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
